Why Diaphanaeity’s Garden?
Upon months and months of deliberation and a million different iterations, I finally felt at home with the name, Diaphanaeity’s Garden. Since ‘diaphanous’ means see-through, I wanted the name to represent transparency and authenticity through creative self-expression & healing. Along with ‘garden,’ the brand name is a metaphor to represent a creative healing space for all. I equate ‘Diaphanaeity’ with our innermost, Authentic Self. She exists within us all to shine her light when we need it most.
In terms of branding from the heart, I’ve always loved the natural sound & flow of ‘diaphanous.’ For me, it conjures up images of a graceful dancer wearing a sheer dress whilst exposing her freeform movements and natural, True Self. ‘Diaphaneity’ also refers to a mineral’s ability to transmit light — and I believe we all have the power to ignite our inner-flame so we can shine hope & inspiration into the lives of others. Throughout this project, I’ve had to accept that in times of stress or loss of belief, it often became challenging to not succumb to darkness or uncertainty. The process of forming a new business, synthesizing multiple passionate ideas, and merging into one project can all be overwhelming — especially if undergoing personal challenges. But at the end of the day, we have to emerge from darkness or solitude, as the world deserves the gifts we hope to share.
From Diaphanaeity’s Garden, you can ‘pick’ everything you need to cultivate complete well-being: physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, and financial — through provided educational resources and creative inspiration. I hope that my offerings & guidance will enable you to become more self-sufficient alongside your supportive Soul-Sisters. Through my heartfelt poems, experiences, songs, and more, I additionally hope to communicate honesty & vulnerability while serving as your helpful confidant and source of creative inspiration.
My Mission
Ultimately, my mission is to inspire & help multi-passionate creatives like you learn how to nurture your ideas and turn your passions, creative hobbies, or existing brand into a purpose-driven business. Perhaps you already have a business but your brand could use new life through a little nurturing. The course I developed is a one-of-a-kind program that takes a holistic approach to teaching branding and solopreneurship by focusing on heart-centered business practices and mind-body healing, for longevity of both you and your business. The course is told through an integrative lens of self-discovery via Goddess Archetype Identities. Interspersed throughout are creative-healing exercises which will help you to connect your personal identity to your brand identity, allowing them to flourish alongside one another.
